Welcome to TherapyWorks!

TherapyWorks is entering its 20th year in Morro Bay and 6th in the present location. We have been around a long time but we are always finding ways to enhance and expand our services. In light of this we are welcoming Justin Banks, DPT, CSCS to our staff. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Duke in 2005. In addition to his academic and personal credentials, he is bringing ideas and energy to augment the many programs we have available here.

TherapyWorks is a licensed and accredited physical therapy practice owned and operated by Ross and Debbie Dover since 1988 in Morro Bay. We have always offered professional treatment to our patients and we now have an expanded physical therapy facility to go along with the expansion of FitnessWorks, a community gym. TherapyWorks is now 3000 square feet in size and even better equipped to offer appropriate treatment to a wide variety of area residents in need of physical therapy. We have five treatment rooms and a private 1000 square foot gym just for physical therapy patients. Let's not forget about our greatest assets; the therapists and support staff that help make our patients get better! Those of you who have had treatment at TherapyWorks in the past can confirm that when you walk in, you will be treated with individual and professional attention in accordance with the wishes of your doctor.

We offer treatment for a variety of problem areas. We work with joint replacement rehabilitation as well as post-knee and shoulder reconstruction. We also work with both surgical and non-surgical problems including neck and low back pain and arthritis; shoulder stiffness, bursitis and tendonitis; knee pain, arthritis and tendonitis; hip pain and stiffness; fibromyalgia and chronic pain; stroke rehabilitation; amputation training; sports training and rehabilitation; balance dysfunction, general fitness and wellness education. Keep in mind, these are just a few of the things we can do for you.

TherapyWorks and FitnessWorks are independently operated but integrated health facilities serving the residents of San Luis Obispo County's North Coast. We are committed to enhancing the health of a wide spectrum of individuals; from those requiring licensed and physician-guided physical therapy to people hoping to maintain and improve their health independently by using state of the art equipment and group fitness classes. With the talent, professionalism and energy of our staff, we will continue to improve the strength of our business and enhance the lives of our patrons. We will also remain involved in the community through support of worthy charitable organizations and by providing professional and economic opportunities to the business community and residents of Morro Bay.

TherapyWorks is open five days a week. The hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Tuesday and Thursday our hours are extended; we are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm to help those with busy work schedules to be seen before or after their work day.
